One of our cherished alumni passed away on Sunday March 26th . Bobby
Griggs was one of the most instrumental people in the development of
Friends of Northwest Classen Foundation. Beginning with helping Jim
Robinson with our golf tournament which was the beginning of Friends of
Northwest, worked tirelessly in efforts to benefit Northwest Classen High
School.
Bobby Griggs was at the heart of making Hudson Hall one of the premier
facilities for concerts and events in Oklahoma City. He dove into the
construction of the Green Room, Dressing Rooms, stage facilities and the
overall presentation of our great auditorium. It began to benefit Northwest
immediately and continues to this day.
We have posted Bobby’s obituary below. Please take a moment and read it,
he was a kind and generous man that helped many, especially the students,
faculty, and administration at Northwest Classen. One of the things he asked
was in lieu of flowers you make a donation to Friends of Northwest Classen.
We have created a link for you to honor Bobby in the manner he asked.
He will be missed by all of us.
